Using byMyplace was a great experience. We used a Conveyancer for the legal stuff, and between the Conveyancer and the support from Steph and Monique (who were always available and friendly, to help me work things out), it was smooth sailing. I did the photos myself with basic editing software. Overall it was quite easy and a good way to save a lot of money! Hence I am very glad I did this with BMP, there is absolutely no question: I would do it again!! (May, 2014)

I wouldn't sell any other way...
I wouldn't sell any other way. I have sold 3 properties in the last 12 Months using Buy My Place. I enjoyed both the interaction with buyers and feedback from potential buyers. I learnt that presentation is everything and hiring furniture achieves maximum return on investment. I also picked up work from selling myself as a builder which was an unexpected bonus. In the end all 3 properties SOLD at prices at least 5-10% above what agents told me they could achieve in such a slow market. 2 out of the 3 properties were record Sales for the location and one SOLD in 16 days at $150K over what even I was told by 3 agents it was worth. Why would you sell through an agent and be talked into reducing your price to meet market demand even before you list. If you are confident and happy to follow up all interested parties a few days after inspection you will sell. I believe you must to do open inspections! I found listing as PRICED TO SELL on internet brings heaps of people to open inspections. Then when people inspect property ask them what they think it is worth. I then say others have indicated it is worth between ? and ?. Really what have you got to lose? $10000-$20000 in agents fees, to an agent whom gets paid regardless of result. Personally I would rather hire furniture and a designer to present the home to maximise potential. In all the years I have purchased real estate for investment it is always the ones which are presented badly, I buy the cheapest. A furniture package and designer should cost between $2000-$5000 and if done properly, especially if brand new will achieve maximum price and a quick sale. This is the second time we have sold a property with Buymyplace and had quick success both times. Both sales were vacant land and both sold with people walking past the block of land and seeing the For Sale sign. I found the support team over the phone very helpful and friendly which makes a huge difference in negotiating the world of internet technology needed. I world highly recommend selling a property this way. Realestate agents at times do very little for their commission, especially when selling an empty block.
