How does it work?

In engaging with lawlab through buyMyplace, there are several stages to your process:

  • Step 1: Purchase your Sale Contract Package through buyMyplace. This will empower you to be buyer ready at the time you list your property for sale. While we strongly recommend you have your Standard Listing Package ready to go before you list regardless of the state your property is in, note it is mandatory for NSW and ACT. See our pricing below.
  • Step 2: Purchase your Sale Conveyancing Package through lawlab (including other disclosures and searches if required). While your Sale Contract Package gets your ready to list your property for sale and lock in a buyer, it does not include the process of settlement. This is a separate process incurring a separate fee. Fees for this are usually paid out of your settlement proceeds.

Can my contract be fast-tracked?

In NSW, Victoria and ACT, your process can be fast-tracked for an additional Fast-Tracking Fee.  These are not included in the fees above.  Fast-Tracking Fees depend on your needs and range from (inc. GST):

  • NSW and ACT: $75-$235
  • VIC: $120-$150

If you require fast-tracking, please let us know at the time of purchasing your Sale Contract Package; this information will be passed onto lawlab who will be able to advise and confirm final Fast-Tracking fees.

Once you make payment for the Standard Listing Package Fee, your details (such as name, address, phone number and email) will be provided to lawlab and you will become a customer of lawlab for the conveyancing services. In purchasing a Standard Listing Package from buyMyplace, you consent to this information being provided by buyMyplace to lawlab on your behalf.

You will remain a customer of buyMyplace for your marketing campaign and services that you have purchased from us, other than conveyancing.
