Matthew Driscoll – Non-Executive Chairman

matt_driscollMr Driscoll was a founding Director of Killara Resources Pty Ltd and has over 29 years experience in the financial services industry, having provided advice on all aspects of the securities, derivatives and investment markets. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a Graduate Diploma in Education, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance, is a Master of the Stockbrokers Association of Australia, a Graduate Member of the Institute of Company Directors and a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (SF FIN). He has specialized experience within investment markets, inclusive of analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, transaction analysis, financial modelling, debt structuring, asset and equity valuation and due diligence. He was a Member of the Australian Securities Exchange prior to its demutualisation and was a founding member of the Securities and Derivatives Industry Association.

Mr Driscoll is a Director of Workspace Australia Limited, a not-for-profit business incubator in Central Victoria.


Cameron Fisher – Executive Director


Mr Fisher was previously Managing Director of and will continue as Executive Director of Property within the BuyMyplace Group.

Mr Fisher is highly qualified in his profession, and was previously a director of some of Australia’s leading real estate companies, including Bennison Mackinnon and Talbot Birner Morley (TBM) after commencing his first real estate business when he was 26 years of age. He holds an array of qualifications, including: fully Licensed Real Estate Agent; Diploma in valuations (distinction); fully Accredited Auctioneer with over 5,000 successful auctions under his belt; and advisor to leading institutions, developers, accountancy practices and law firms.

Mr Fisher is also the managing director of Changing Places Real Estate Consultants Pty Ltd, a full service flat fee real estate agency. He has for a long time believed agents fees to be too high hence his flat fee service, and as such his thinking and philosophies are very much in line with those of buyMyplace.


Paul Spottiswood – Non-Executive Director

Paul_SpottiswoodPaul is an entrepreneurial corporate and strategic adviser, having spent over fifteen years in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and business and investment fund establishment roles.

Paul’s depth of experience is evidenced by successful roles in investment banking (with Macquarie and Credit Suisse), dynamic in-house strategic and corporate development roles and, more recently, advisory roles for mid-market companies (333 Capital). He has provided advice internationally (particularly in Europe and Asia) and across the real estate, infrastructure, logistics, financial services, retirement living, retail, hospitality and technology industries. Paul’s clients include private and listed companies, superannuation funds and high net worth investors. He is also a qualified solicitor and barrister.



Melanie Leydin – Company Secretary

melanie-leydinMelanie Leydin holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and Corporate Law.  She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a Registered Company Auditor.  She graduated from Swinburne University in 1997, became a Chartered Accountant in 1999 and since February 2000 has been the principal of chartered accounting firm, Leydin Freyer.

Melanie has over 23 years’ experience in the accounting profession and has extensive experience in relation to public company responsibilities, including ASX and ASIC compliance, control and implementation of corporate governance, statutory financial reporting, reorganisation of Companies and shareholder relations


Colin Keating – Chief Executive Officer

Colin has more than 20 years’ leadership experience in sales, IT products and services, operations, payments, travel services, financial services and wealth management.
He has previously held Managing Director and senior management roles in Australia, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom with a focus on operations, sales and transformational growth working with the likes of American Express and Hogg Robinson Group.



Michelle Taylor – General Manager & Head of Technology

Michelle joined buyMyplace in 2017 to identify and implement opportunities for improvement across the existing in business processes using technology.  Michelle has over 20 years experience in global project delivery, consulting and business process improvement.  She has a Bachelor of Science, double major in Computer Science and Chemistry, and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting.  Michelle is a passionate about customer-centric process design and utilises her technology expertise to design and implement business improvement projects.  Her expertise spans manufacturing, banking, financial services, retail, logistics  and software as a service (SaaS) providers.



Stephenie Pulis-Cassar – Head of Sales & Operations

stephenie_pulis-cassarMs Pulis-Cassar joined buyMyplace in September 2009 after starting her career studying Business at Victoria University and working as a Business Development Manager for various internet start-up companies.

Ms Pulis-Cassar’ s role at buyMyplace sees her leading the day to day sales & operations of the business, as well as being responsible for managing new revenue streams, technology processes and new marketing strategies. Ms Pulis-Cassar’s extensive online and property industry experience has been the driving force behind the great success of buyMyplace’s year-on-year growth. As a keen property investor, Ms Pulis-Cassar has always believed in the mission and vision of buyMyplace and has seen firsthand the benefits that Commission Free sales can provide Australian  home owners.



Cameron Barr – Head of Partnerships & Loyalty

Cameron has more than 18 years’ experience in Marketing, Sales and Loyalty for numerous high-profile companies, including; Ernst & Young, American Express and Willis Group. Most recently, Cameron has specialised in Loyalty and Strategic Partnerships for Incentivise, a customer engagement subsidiary of API Ltd Pty that Cameron was employed to start in 2013.
