Q. If I register what does this mean?
Registering on buyMyplace entitles you to discount offerings, such as our valuation reports. As well as discounts you can save properties you are interested in or you can create a property alert to email properties as they are listed. We will also keep you updated with the latest news about the property market.
Q. I didn't get the confirmation email for my account?
Check your spam folders as confirmation emails often automatically go to this section.
Q. The search results I get have more suburbs than I selected?
BuyMyplace has implemented a sophisticated property search tool that allows us to suggest other relevant properties to you that are in suburbs near by and might be of interest. It's designed to save you time when searching.
Q. Can I search surrounding suburbs?
Our intelligent search tool does this already, however you can also select the "Surrounding Suburbs" tick box next to the blue search button as well.
Q. How can I search by area, not suburb?
As you can only search up to 10 suburbs at a time, it is not possible to search a wide area such as "Victoria". However you can select the blue map of Australia and find the suburbs in a particular area. Simply keep clicking areas of interest until a po-up screen with listed suburbs appears. Then hit search.
Q. What if I can't spell a suburb name?
Our intelligent search will show you matching suburbs as you type. If you still can't find the right suburb simply put your best guess in and our system will find the closest match. If you still can't find what you are after ring us on 1300 289 697 and we will help you..
Q. How many suburbs can I search at once?
You can search up to 10 suburbs at a time.
Q. Can I search by price?
Yes you can search by price or price range. Go to the 'Basic Search Refinement" section on the left hand panel of the screen and put the minimum and maximum prices that suit your budget. Then click search.
Q. Can I search by postcode?
Yes. Enter your postcode and hit search.
Q. Can I search by property ID number?
Yes. HOwever you must make sure the ID has a zero in fron of the numbers. As you will see on the site all our properties have six zeros in front of them. To search by proeprty ID simply place the a single zero infront of the numbers (not all six zeros) and hit search.
Q. When I call the contact number for a property is it the owner?
Yes.
